Had to lift it 3 times to level it. I have permission to fill to the bottom step n that is it. They will be back on Monday. It looks beautiful! I love it so much. My builder said in the fiberglass pool world, Imagine Pools are the Lamborghinis! He said this pool is one of the best made out there. Last pic from my front porch.

Nice.....but dam that water is gonna be cold! I had 84 water today and 90 outside. Gonna be 93 by Sunday.
I'm going to run the filter until I get the pool clean. I may fire the heater up if it's still warm out just to make sure it's working. I doubt we'll swim but I just may jump in it.
Monday?? But that is so far away......................sigh...............BUT it is there and safe!!!!

Its been a long process and I'm so grateful to the guy who brought it here because he didnt have to do that! He had a rough ride on the back roads of West Virginia to stay off the Toll roads.

No other way to be when you buy a pool during a pandemic. There were days I wished it were here because I was so hot n miserable. I'm glad its here though. I wanna get my chemicals right, clean her up, get the equipment and slide in and get her put to sleep for the winter. I'm going to have an awesome summer next year!Congratulations Casey, your patience is paying off big time.
I shut the water off so it didn't over fill. I checked the deep end walls n no bowing. I'll turn the water on tomorrow and add some CYA to a sock n a little liquid chlorine. Give her a brush through. I'll just tell the guy not to add any CYA. I dont want algae.

Turns out Leisure pools manufactures Imagine pools, I was wondering since they looked so similar. Looking great and congratulations. The key is packing that tanning ledge so there is no gaps. Takes patience and improvised tools to ensure the fill gets packed in there just right!
I was wondering that myself. I have never seen a fiberglass pool installed. I was wondering if they were going to use flowable fill or something similar to ensure there are no voids around the entire pool.
They will be filling the sides of the pool with the same base they used for the bottom of the pool. I actually got in the pool on the tanning ledge n it feels pretty solid the whole way across. They did a really nice job all around.
Have the worker guy with the duck dynasty beard jump around on it. He was …. Um…. Ahem. Gotta be kind and all. *less dainty* than you.
Filled to bottom of the steps as instructed... my Duck Dynasty PBs have that pool sitting level. And I noticed a manufacturing defect. I went back to the video of the pool being backed in and you can see it there too. The left side long wall is bowed. Right side is perfect.

Casey, that should fix itself as they fill / backfill simultaneously. The backfill ideally will be clean aggregate, so that water can easily flow to your sump location.
I’m no PB, nor a patio dude. But I’d want to have the workers know about the patio coming. It should be able to be fixed but it’s gonna take some skill to get it just right and not wavy. I’d then be worried that the patio people tamp it further and create an inward bow. Maybe it can be discussed and done so that section is just good to go with no further work needed before the pour.
