I understand that after monopersulfate has been added, that the regular Taylor test kit will not give accurate CC readings without using a special test reagent. How long should I wait before using the regular Taylor drop test? In other words, would the MPS be permanently affecting tests?

New 1.5# that I never used when I sold my hot tub. Put into pool rather than just throwing away in hope that it might help reduce chlorine demand which has increased due to temps over 110.
