What did you do to your pool today?

Since I'm limited on what I can do in effort to warm our water I've been working on this set up....it's not the most ideal placement but it will get about 8 hours of direct sunlight (with pump running) every day when the suns out. I'm not expecting a large increase in temps but every little bit helps. Coupled with the solar cover that I need to put back on it's about all I can do. (We have a pipeline buried under our back yard so there's an easement and restrictions we have to deal with).

Still have to deal with the plumbing but that's relatively easy.... :D

I finally put away car parts, lawn tools, and my TFP laptop long enough to clean the pool. I'm bad about vacuuming. But she's clean until the next dust storm. Also cleaned my salt cell for the first time since installing it last April. Had some calcium build up mainly because I have purposely been keeping my CSI a little higher than I normally like as a test for my FG gelcoat. Forecast for the next several days ..... thunderstorms. Ha.

Just to be clear........ I am not patiently awaiting them digging. I am patiently awaiting you decree-ing that the mud may begin. Excavators don’t have any authority. Only you have the power to make it official. :ROFLMAO:

...... to be continued, But in the meantime....
:epds:

I looked at it. It’s so pretty. I’ll throw Junior in later. It was surprisingly cool outside this am! Our low was in mid-60s, wasn’t expecting that!

Does someone need a pool robot?
I purposely keep my CSI in the 0 to -0.3 range to help prevent calcium buildup. I did pull my SWG out and rinse it this spring. Looked OK.

Update: left the lid to the deck box open (unit was operating at the time)
Came back a few minutes ago & its back to normal 🤷‍♀️
Its like it was puffed up from hot air? Flat as can be now.
The power supply does get quite hot when running.

hand vac the last of the silt from the winter, brushed , cleaned and lubed the screw downs for my winter cover, cleaned and put away the winter cover, tested water, took apart the robot and cleaned , ran robot, changed out skimmer socks.....If weather holds this week we will be swimming next weekend

Got in today for a quick dip after laying out for a while. It was chilly (75f water) but mid 80’s outside. Adjusted the steps while i was in there.
The kids played volleyball 🏐 for quite a while & we all got a little sunburned ☀️ Beautiful day 🏖 can’t wait for the rest of the summer.
