Hi Everyone,

We are in the early stages of building an inground pool and would love feed back on our current design and proposal. I have also attached a list of upgrades the pool builder offers and could use feedback on if any should be considered. In the design file, the highlighted area is where we plan to have additional decking added. This is the first time we've built a pool and I've been learning a lot from the site so thank you for all your expertise and feedback!

Welcome to the forum.
The Pool Proposal does not show what pump is included, but the Pool Upgrades show an Intelliflo VS as an upgrade. Under all circumstances, you want a VS pump.
The IC40 is small for your volume pool. I am coming up with ~30000 gallons. If so, you need the IC60.
Be ware of Globrite lights. They use a proprietary attachment and thus you will always have to buy Globrites. They last about 3 years and cost $300 a piece, if you install them your self. Microbrites are better as they use a generic attachment.
I would suggest going to a cartridge filter versus a sand filter. Go very big, the CCP520, as your pool is large. This will allow you to clean the cartridges just once, or at most twice, per year.
The Easytouch automation is old technology. The Intellicenter is Pentair's newest technology. You should consider upgrading to that.
