I have a thermal blanket for my GMG. Really helps with temps and pellet usage. I noticed the difference between this year and last year. Mine goes over the top and down the sides.

I made one from a roll on reflectix insulation -- like the sun screen in cars. In Florida, we only have to worry about it for about a month of the year.
