New construction, Southern Tampa area

Looks good! So nice that they centered that palm tree for you 😊.
That was pure luck, we had that tree there already. Just so happens to line up perfectly.

Looking good! What color pebblesheen did you go with?
We went with Pebblesheen Blue Granite.
Here is the pool all filled up. Took 22 hours and 19,000 gallons. We did get some help with rain overnight. But I thought it was going to be a lot longer to fill.

Are you a little more settled into it now figuring out how you like to use everything? Any pics of how you laid out everything around it? Looks like we have a similar space - trying to finalize the furniture/accessories plan! Your view is killer - swap out your water view for pvc and we're pretty similar lol so we're putting up areca palms behind the cage and landscape lighting for a private backyard feel since there's no view...

Really encouraging to see projects done in Tampa - I'm getting antsy after a few days of waiting for the gunite crew to supposedly keep showing up "tomorrow"

Still figuring things out. Everything is pretty much in it's place. I haven't quite worked out a grilling area yet. But everything else is pretty much staying where it is. I'll get a few pics tomorrow in the day. Gonna install the TV early.
We are pretty lucky with the view. I think I would have preferred to have the seating area on the side closest to the the house and push the whole pool further back along the screen. But we also like having seating on all sides of the pool. Plus having the seating on the end where it is allows us to see the TV.
One recommendation on the trees around the pool. Came from a friend who does screen work, he said to make sure you allow for some space between the screen and trees. When you have to replace a screen panel they will yank the Areca if they can't get to the screen. We ended up doing a row of Viburnums on the two sides, along the property line for some privacy without putting a fence. We're almost done, finally getting Sod next weekend. Whatever you plan on spending on irrigation and landscaping just go ahead and double it. After the sod I need to fix the broken sidewalk and that should be it.

@JayRi Pool looks great! I'm debating a similar setup using therapy jets and we also have only 1 pump...are you happy with how the air intake valves work? How close did they install the valves to the jets? Are they very noisy? I currently have it plumbed for two different seating areas as well, but I'm considering reducing it to only one seating area if the venturi valves are not very effective. Would love to hear any advice/info you have to share. Thx!

I wish I could help you, but I have not been able to use the Jets yet. They are out of stock. But the air line sits just outside the screen, it’s just a 2” pvc pipe sticking out of the ground with a cap on it. They drilled holes through the cap for air to get in. I did have 2 separate lines but I’ll only be able to use one side at a time. Otherwise I’d have needed another pump.

Finally filling our pool. Almost 12 weeks since they started with the layout.
Hello. We just submitted paperwork for permit approval. We are thinking of the Pebble Brilliance finish. How do you like your Pebble Sheen finish? Any issues with maintaining the finish or water? Pool looks great! I am sure you are enjoying it! We are also putting in 3 of the Jandy Laminars .... how do you like them? Thank you

Congrats on the new pool. Yes we’ve been enjoying our pool quite a bit. I like the pebble sheen, my wife thinks it’s still a bit rough. We decided against the laminars or any deck jets. At the end of it we noticed they seem to be a bit noisy and something we’d only use for the look. Also I knew we’d be battling PH rises so I didn’t want anything that was going to add to that.
