I had an exceptionally bad experience with a sub contractor today. So much so, I regret starting this process? Anyone feel the same?

Oh no! What happened?
It’s a long story. In short, I pointed out a few corrections to a sub contractor. He called his boss and handed me his phone. The boss screamed at me. I mean screamed like a lunatic. They were off my property Very soon after that - like minutes. This is on top of other aggravation.

I had some doubts along the way. It took two months to get the permit and I had verrrry little communication with the pool company. Pool has water in it now, only thing left is the deck. Once you have the pool it will all be worth it.

Congratulations. I hope so.

I sometimes regret moving from a house with a pool and going through the expense of installing one. We had a few major issues with our build and we are still working through them so the pain is still raw. Hopefully things will be resolved for us and we will move past the build problems. That said - there is a lot of joy in seeing the water and our space so it is worth it in the end.

Hope everything works out for you.

You have a contract and you are paying lots of money - you would not accept a dent in a new car so you have the right to call out shoddy work. Stand by your ground and ensure he meets contract requirements. Hopefully you do not make the final payment until completion and acceptance of the pool. BTW, if this is a subcontractor of the main PB then discuss directly with the PB.

I am sorry for your issues. I hope everything is resolved in short order.

Thank you. I immediately called the PB. The PB removed the subs from my site and I told them they are to never set foot on my property. I do not accept that behavior or sloppy work.
