Hot tub leaks down overnight

In ground pool. My hot tub used to stay level after the pool pump shut off for the day, but now it is leaking down to right above the jets overnight. I've replaced both flapper valves the one on the spa return and the one on the spa fountain line. This usually fixes it, but it hasn't this time. Any tips, ideas, suggestions? Thanks

One of the two check valves has to be bad.. I suggest that you use the 3-way valves next to the two check valves and move them to block the water flow through the check valves.. Fill your spa up and leave the pump off overnight and confirm that the leak has stopped.

If so, then all you need to do then, is figure out which check valve has to leak.

Wouldn't the flapper/check valves have fixed that? I'm not sure how to turn them to block water flow through the check valves once the pump is off.

Point the word "off" on the wide end of each valve handle, right at the pipe that comes from each check valve...

Yes, in theory, replacing the guts of the check valve should have fixed the problem, but if the leak stops right at the return jets, I can't think of anything else that would cause the problem..

Maybe a broken pipe, but that would be very odd.. If you turn off the water path through each check valve, using the 3-way valves, and the spa still leaks, at least you will know for sure it can't be the check valves.. Let's cross that bridge when we have to..

Ok tried this and it stayed full. With the pool off I turned each valve open. The one on the left side when open I didn't hear anything. When I turned the one on the right open I heard slight dribbling. So the new valve on the right side must be defective and I need to replace it again.
