Tell Us About Your Avatar!

Yes, it's really me. I tried out driving for Uber/Lyft about two years ago, needed a "professional" pic for my driver profile, took this myself with my camera gear, was pretty happy with how it turned out. A few years ago (11, really) I was a wannabe photographer, but my hobby changed...as it does every 6 months or so. :ROFLMAO: But I still have some gear and tell myself I'm gonna pick it up again.

I don't generally change my profile pics often, I've been a member on a motorcycle forum for over ten years now and if I recall correctly have only had two real and one temporary joke profile pic in that time.

My screen name is my email address & has been for over 20 years.
Some of us have a lot of imagination, don't we?

I love the water. The open ocean has so much to offer and wonderful life whether it be animals such as these spotted eagle rays, sharks or orcas, schools of fish, wonderful coral or little critters that live amongst the underwater gardens. I'll need to change the avatar every so often to show everyone the undersea world.

This is what I meant when I wrote about tile color selection. How the choices you make can affect the surrounding elements in your yard and vice versa. Notice how the colors of Rob's two-tone tan match the two-tone tile work perfectly! Nice. ;)

My avatar was going to be me in a 12-dimensional parallel universe but it doesn't display correctly. There are 4 space dimensions, 4 time dimensions and 4 dimensions that are not space or time.

Alternatively, I was going to use a picture of a quark or a singularity from a black hole, but I can't find any authentic pictures.

WITPRO and the men-in-Black guarding my doors won’t let me use my real picture. So I felt my chia-pet Bob Ross was the perfect representation of my inner-most self - chill, creative, and always ready to give the solitary tree a friend....don’t forget to use lots of that cerulean blue and cad-yellow ....

Just for giggles... No one has noticed yet (or cares, of course) how my avatar's corners have a different radius than everyone else's. Hmmm... why is that?

I thought it was more about the "happy accidents". I guess I was mistaken! :)

I'd use my real picture but I would look like a fatter, older and less in shape version of the avatar anyway. In my case it works for both.

Ooh! I want an animated avatar!
While the other site animated GIFs were allowed, up to 100x100 and 30K size (though I was the only one with an animated avatar), current TFP rules state:
Avatar Rules:
An avatar is the small picture or image placed under your username out the left when you post. They can be no larger than 100x100 pixels and not more than 6,144 bytes in size. Linking to remote avatars is not allowed. Animated avatars are not allowed - having large flashing avatars can make it very distracting for the reader going through a thread. We are just trying to maintain both the look, and usability of the site.

While not animated, my current TFP avatar is 384x384 and 207,470 bytes. 🤫

You are SO busted!!!! Kim TFP MOD!!!!!! HEHE
