Pentair Dual-Speed 340042 Died

My Pentair 340042 was running fine yesterday in low power mode however when I switched it to High it simply died. No noises..nothing.

Went out today and bought a new capacitor for it (thinking that was the most likely cause) but replacing that didn't help.

Tested the wiring and there is power going to the pump.

Any ideas, or am I just going to have to buy a new pump?

I have the same pump, I wish I knew the answer.. This will kick your thread back to the top and see if anyone else has seen this or can help..

Switch in the back.

It was running fine on low, but after I turned it off and flipped the switch to high to run the crawly it wouldn't turn on.

I am wondering if the relay blew but I am not too keen on ordering a $180 part for it that might not fix the problem.

It could be the centrifugal switch in the back of the motor.

I pulled the pump and checked the switches and relays, all seem to be functional.

So I just went ahead and ordered a new pump. Should be here on Friday.
