I think I have gotten more proficient at testing....CYA still a little iffy. If CYA reads exactly between 40 and 50, is it 45, 50 or 40. I added about 1.25” of water last night, then added recommended amount of chlorine to get back up to 8, tested FC after 1 hour and went to bed. Got up and tested this morning. Results as follows:
FC 8
CC 0.05
PH 7.8
TA 110
CH 225
CYA 45?? (Measured exactly Between 40 and 50....which is it??)

Am I Ok with these numbers? Thanks

The vial is in logarithmic scale. So it is not viable to interpolate between the lines. Just use the whole numbers, such as 50, 40, 30, .... Round up.

Thanks! So round up to 50. OK, thanks. Rest of numbers look Ok to you? I think I’m about to get the testing down, just need to quit second guessing myself. Did CYA three times in a row and came up with same results..so maybe I got it...LOL!

They look fine. The CC is a typo, I assume you meant 0.5. But that is no issue.

Yes Sir.....Thanks! This so much better than depending on pool store recommendations, a lot easier on the pocketbook, and My pool actually looks a lot better than their display pools. Lol... they tell me they have over 40 years experience and if I follow their recommendations my pool will look just like theirs. I haven’t told them I switched to TFP way of doing things because I asked them for some LC and they told me they never use it. That told me enough right there!
