Hi all - We have an old Pentair incandescent light that hasn't worked since we bought the house last October. Earlier this spring some contractors rebuilt the deck and cut the cable so now it REALLY doesn't work! Looking at replacing with the Pentair IntelliBrite 5G or J&J Color Splash XG. The Pentair has really mixed reviews and a lousy warranty. J&J has a better warranty and is $200 cheaper...I'm leaning this way. Both will fit in the niche. We don't have other lights to coordinate with. Don't need a controller. Just want a color LED light that will hopefully not konk out in 6 months. Doesn't look like there is a recent thread on how these models perform so thought I would ask - thanks in advance!
