I need help. We just remodeled our pool and had it replastered. When the water was filled in the jets were turned on and we discovered there was a huge crack in the pipes allowing dirt and rocks to shoot into the pool. They fixed the pipes and came to clean the pool. Dirt and rocks were still in there. Now when we go in the pool the plaster feels rough. Is this normal. Will it smooth out. Any help would be really appreciated.

When I had a regular plaster (non pebble tec) it always feels smooth but not like vinyl smooth pool. Right now, I just resurfaced and chose pebble tec instead. A little rougher than the regular plaster for sure.
Make sure your water parameter is good and continue to manually brush your pool floor and walls. It may improve the "roughness". If not, you might want to talk to company that replastered your pool.
