Store bleach doesn’t exist anymore

I used to purchase Target Bleach or Wegmans Bleach or sometimes Clorox Bleach for my pool.

Now, ALL Target Bleach has fabric softener in it, and Clorox has Chloromax in it, and Wegmans has fabric softener in it too.

None of these companies make ANY normal bleach now. This is ridiculous!

Usually Walmart’s have 10% Pool essentials in pool section. Lowe’s or Menards around? Some even order online I believe.

Look for Pool Chlorinating Liquid or Liquid Pool Shock at Walmart, HD or Lowe’s.

If you have an ocean state job lot near you that's where I get cases of liquid pool shock (12.5% bleach)

Riverside Chemical in North Tonawanda sells a 5 gallon container of chlorine for $16.95 including tax. $10.00 deposit on container & you'll want to purchase a spout. I believe the strength is 12%.

Most hardware stores in NY sell 5 and 2.5 gallon jugs of 12.5%. GO BILLS!

Where can you get a spout? That sure would come in handy.

They sell them where I get the chlorine. I also got the wrench. The spout has an on/off valve. I set the container on a five gallon bucket & transfer it to one gallon jugs so I don't have lug around all five gallons. It works well for me.

sorry for the late reply. What stores around us the 12.5%? I’ve been to Home Depot and can’t find any. They sell the pucks though.

I'm in Albany so can't tell you specifically but most hardware stores here sell it. Ace, True Value etc.

Are you right in Buffalo or one of the burbs? Riverside Chemical in NT always has it.
