I have been bumped for a week now by the gunite company here in Houston, wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?
Anyone seeing a delay in Houston for Gunite?

Hey BB. Other years it was rare to have crews work in a timely manner. Overbooking and weather delays were always an issue. Once the schedule is behind, everybody else suffers. Then the weather slows them down some more.
Now that everyone is trying to catch up after the shutdowns and business is through the roof for new pool demand, I can only image it’s 10X worse this year. That doesn’t help you though and it sucks. I’m sorry you are stuck waiting. Hopefully it gets rolling soon.

I'd be wearing a path in the floor pacing back and forth in the house. It would somehow make me feel better, but it wouldnt speed it up any. Lol. Call anybody you have access too. Be poilte but firm in wanting answers. Its completely reasonable to be both.
Yes, I got bumped. I am so ready to start my owner build. I have had the permits and HOA approval for almost a month now and all the pool equipment is sitting in my dining room.
If it makes you feel any better, we are in Houston, signed the contract March 16th and just had gunnite last week. It is ridiculous.
Gunite is very behind right now - and I know of one company that completely shut down as of today...they were supposed to do my gunite tomorrow. It is crazy!
I heard the 2 largest gunite companies in Houston are either shutdown or working with half there crews. It’s crazy times
5 weeks since excavation and still no gunite
