IPG Salt One

Hello,
Just getting the pool open for third season of fun. Went to buy stabilizer, the pool shop I use doesn’t sell the pails anymore I stead recommends IPG Salt One. I don’t need stabilizer with this product. Read what’s in it Boric Acid among a few other things. No cya. Didn’t buy because, well I followed this forum since day one and have had zero issues with my pool so I thought I’d ask here first. Anyone have this product recommended for their salt water pool? Does this even make sense? Thanks
Mike

Boric acid adds borates to your pool. It will moderate pH rise. But you must have low TA to start and is a complication if you do not need it.
No Home Depot or Walmart or Canadian Tire in Hamilton? They all should be carrying pool materials.

Just curious as to why a pool shop would suggest this product instead of normal stabilizer.
Because it sounds 'new and improved'! Mixed chemical potions are not what TFP will recommend. We like to test for what the pool needs and use the product it needs to adjust the parameter.
