New Pool just filled

Hello All,
I have a few questions regarding what to do right after my pool is filled and what order. I done the pool calculator and it said 2 cups bleach to go from 0 chlorine to 3ppm. Should I add bleach right after its filled? And does that amount seem right for 11,000 gallons? Anyway just looking for the correct steps to get everything balanced after fill. I do have my test kit and am familiar with using it. BTW we will be using water from a tanker truck.

You need close to 48 oz of 10% liquid chlorine to get to 3 ppm. I would suggest adding half a gallon and start your 30 ppm worth of CYA dissolving. Test pH, TA, and CH for the record.

my app is also suggesting 20 oz of dry stabilizer. are you using the pool math app too?

I am using the app.

My bad, I somehow had it set at 5000 gallons. Thank you!
