Could be a piece from a fence. What type of fence do you have around the pool?
It could have blown into the pool from anywhere on the or aroudn the house. It doesn't need to come from pool equipment.

That is definitely NOT a piece off of the Active 20 pool cleaner. Might also look like a piece off of a mask and snorkel set. These cleaners find all kinds of goodies on the bottom of your pool!

That looks just like the clips on my patio chairs that protects them when stacked.
Beat me too it. I had one in my hand this afternoon when it popped off the chair !! Bravo.
