I saw an old post where someone was asking about replacements for Savi Melody lights. There wasn’t much of a response to the old post at that time. I understand Savi has been purchased the Jandy. Does anyone currently have any recommendations on color changing replacements? I can buy the Savi, but the 3 we have only lasted 4 years. They are expensive and reviews show people having worse luck than I did with them

4 years is out of warranty, however. You may get some traction if you were to call Jandy and discuss the issues you are having. Even to go so far as to call repeatedly until you get someone that may be sympathetic to your problem. I know at some point (don't know how long ago) they either had a problem with the cartridges or they introduced a new one (again, can't remember, age).

But either way, you must "kill them with kindness". You will get no where if you call expecting something from them or have an abrasive attitude about it.

Thanks, we did some research and found some lights locally. They weren’t cheap, but did have a 3 year warranty available. Treo LED lights with 6 lockable colors and 2 color change modes. They’re a completely different style than the Savi Melody lights, so hopefully we will get more years out of these.

I have a Savi which has failed, from what I can see they all fail and are way overpriced.
I am working out a repair method which should work at a fraction of the price and with Bluetooth and wifi control.
Will keep you posted.

I have 4 of these lights and they have been replaced multiple times. I was able to repair two of them recently by simply replacing the LEDs. The LED chips are about $4 each from Digikey, but they are very fiddly to replace and you need a hot air pencil to do it. My other two have circuit board issues, so I need to find replacement cartridges, or even faulty ones I can repair. If anyone has old failed ones lying around, I'll take them off you!

So far, all I can see are the Jandy Hydrocool lights, which look like direct replacements. I am waiting to hear from Jandy on whether they work with existing Savis or not. It's a shame, becuase these are nice sleek lights. They just don't dissipate heat that well.

Hi. I am in the same boat. Just one of the 4 Savi, the one in the spa. It has a very faint flicker of light.
Any ideas on replacing of fixing greatly appreciated.
They were once replaced by Jandy in 2014; the tech said these Savi were better, the 100’ hose would not have to be replaced for future repair. Not sure if that still matters... But now 7 years later I can’t find info....
Thanks so much for any advice.
Jim
