Extra pieces...

Hi All,

I just opened my pool (yay!) and discovered some extra pieces the PB put in the skimmer basket... presumably when he closed the pool... though I suppose it is possible they were from something else...


The only thing I could think is that they came from the skimmer... but I don't see where. There are two "circles" in the skimmer, but only one is actually connected -- the other looks like it is only an inch or so deep. Taking pictures of the inside of the skimmer is challenging, but I tried:


Anything else it could be?

The first pic is bumpers for a ladder, I believe?

They are ladder bumpers.

But, those are no good. They will fall out. Get these.

The Xpand-N-Lok male rubber bumper is recommended for ladders and use on 1.90" OD tubing with .049" to .065" wall thickness.

Note: I hope that you didn't put the ladder in without the bumpers as the metal can cut the liner.

Aha! Thanks. No, didn't put the ladder in yet (and it spends most of its time out of the pool since I have an auto-cover.

wow....just checked two favorite sources for these and one came in at $35 and if I used my Smile.Amazon.Com acct which sends a bit back to TFP they were only $12!
