Concrete is done. Really feeling like a pool now. Kimcats we are thinking maybe some grasses and stuff like that. We are going to bark the orchard and maybe small rock for the area around the pool that’s not grass.

Then there is the wonderful mondo grass for right by the pool. mondo grass - Google Search
I love the black!!

I love the idea of the rock between the pool and grass. Just make sure it is BIG rocks so you can use the blower to clean it out.

One of the neat things about Mondo grass is it will spread out over time. It is very easy to control. It will get thicker over time as well. It is VERY easy to grow.

Ready for Equipment and plaster. Should be high 70’s and up from here on out. Getting excited!

Make sure the equipment is done and ready to run BEFORE they plaster!! Running the pump is a very important part of curing the plaster!

I finally got the upgrade price from the easy touch psl4 lite to the IntelliCenter, IC60 salt and intellivalve. Does $2,800 installed seem reasonable? Thanks

It is about $1800 price difference for the equipment. I figured $1000 for the install of panel and SWCG? Seems ok

I might ask for a video conference (really want a sit down but.....) to talk to the jump on the price. They were going to have to already install that other one so................

I have asked for a breakdown of the price difference. I am not sure I have much leverage at this point since equipment goes in next week and I really do want thIs setup with IntelliCenter and SWCG. Lesson learned I should have done this months ago.

Guardian pool fence installed today and pool equipment delivered.

Plaster scheduled for Thursday with acid wash on Friday.

Question: on the SWCG is it best for him to install it now or after 30 days? The contractor is willing to do either.

You have have it installed now BUT do not turn it on or add the salt for 30 after the plaster is done.

Late to the party, did they install a bond breaker or slip joint on top of the leveled beam prior to pouring the concrete deck? Any tile touching the cantilever concrete decking? The decking will expand / contract causing the tile to pop-off if it’s attached...

Yes they installed some kind of paper bond breaker(see picture). I am not sure what you are asking in the second question?
