Now you have your first job with the build. Run out there with your plans and tape measure in hand. Is it long, wide, deep, etc enough? Add about 8" for the steel, shell, and plaster. NOW is the time to fix or tweak as needed.

Looking good! Glad the weather held out today to allow them to wrap up.

I love this part! See if there is any way you can be there for the shell being shot. Some times they have concerns or ideas from their experience. If you are there you can give your input on what you want done or not done.

Gunite is complete. Started water curing this morning. Shelter in place will allow me to keep it wet! The crew did an awesome job!

They are starting on the waterline tile. I need to pick a tile for the step outlines. The one on the left is blue in the sunlight and the one on the right has more shine and is grey. Any opinions?

I would pick the square ones and turn them on their point and space them out evenly. Use plaster around them instead of grout.

That is pretty also! Lay them out both ways and see what you like the best. There is NO wrong way with that pretty BLING tile!!! Just make sure they use plaster instead of grout to have it blend in with the rest of the pool.

I was thinking like this.

Opinion on these two sizes. One row of 2x2 or two rows of 1x2?

With your curves I would do the 2x2 spaced out a bit so they can fallow the the curves with out big gaps.

They did light gray. Grading for the pool deck today to pour next week!
