Pool Light Bonding and/or Grounding

Electrical questions: I recently had a leaking pool light niche replaced. The shell around the light was replaced with a metal housing and a new yellow jacket 3 wire electrical with a separate bonding cable pulled into the junction box. The old wiring had no bond up at the junction, but was and still is bonded to the concrete mesh down behind the niche. I found a bonding cable running very close by the junction box and I've connected a new length of copper to that and the bonding lug on the outside of the box. This lug is connected to the grounding bar inside the box. Because it's the one and only light I have I chose, for now, to use water resistant wire nuts for all three wire connections bypassing the grounding bar. Until I'm sure what to do with this I've just left the new bonding cable inside the box.

The Questions are: Should the light fixture ground wire, the electrical source ground and the bonding cable all connect to the bar? Or just the bonding cables? Does the bond need to be connected to both the concrete wire mesh and the junction box ground lugs? The light specs are 142watts/12Volts/MR16-71watt bulb. A Pentair Luminaire No.X-447428. The light is operating correctly right now. I greatly appreciate any advice or comments I receive.

You connected what you think is the bare #8 bonding wire from your deck to the bonding lug on the junction box.

This lug is connected to the grounding bar inside the box. Until I'm sure what to do with this I've just left the new bonding cable inside the box.

What three wire connections are you describing?

You say you " left the new bonding cable inside the box' but above you said you connected a bonding cable to the junction box bonding lug.

Connect the light fixture ground wire and the ground wire running to your sub-panel to the grounding bar in the junction box.

Connect the bonding wire from your light and deck to the bonding lug on the junction box.
