I will be installing low voltage landscape lighting in my backyard this weekend. I am planning to power the transformer through my Intellicenter Panel. Is it possible to wire these in such that I can control them as a "Schedule" and to turn them on/off? Is it really as mounting the transformer, running a conduit from the transformer to a knockout on the bottom of the panel, then connecting the wires to an unused Power Relay?

Yes, sort of.

- Connecting the hot wire of the transformer to the load side of a relay
- Connecting the line side of the replay to a 120V GFCI CB
- Connecting the neutral wire of the transformer to the GFCI CB
- Connecting the ground wire of the transformer to the ground bus bar

m,

Not sure it is a requirement to have low voltage landscape lights to be connected to a GFCI, but it can hurt.. I assume that your landscape lighting is low voltage LED, if not, you are just wasting money..

But it is just as simple as using a relay to provide the AC power to the landscape system.. And, then scheduling the Aux relay to have the lights come on and off when you want..

I have an EasyTouch, so don't know much about the IntelliCenter, but I would assume it has the ability to use the internet to determine the "dusk" time so you don't have to keep adjusting it..

Look at the sticker on the inside of the panel door for the type of CB;s it takes. It does not need to be a special Pentair breaker.

Installation Manual says "For recommended circuit breaker types, refer to the circuit breaker chart on the inside front door of the Load Center or Power Center.'

The Homeline or Square D breakers sold at Lowes and Home Depot will work just fine.

You may not need to add a breaker. You could just run a jumper from the pool lights to an unused relay to power your transformer.

If you do this be sure to grab the neutral after the GFI.

Something to consider.........I did this with mine -
I have 4 pentair uplights on a dedicated transformer (or as bdavis stated - jump to your pool lights and use a new relay). This way you can highlight certain trees with the uplighting and they will be the same color as your pool.

Then a separate transformer to run ground/path lighting.

Pretty cool looking! And all able to be on a schedule, or in a group.
