Why hot tub sanitation is important

Two dead now from Legionella supposedly contracted from hot tubs at the Western N.C. Fair in Fletcher, NC.
Dealers have to learn that purging bio-contamination from plumbing is so important. People think that high sanitizer levels kill all the bacteria. It does kill planktonic bacteria cells but not the really bad bacteria harboring inside the biofilm in the plumbing and jets. This will be a lawyers dream in handling lawsuits that are sure to come about. Let’s hope the other 80 patients infected will be ok. Keep posted and PURGE your hot tub! Clean the filters especially. Lots of bad guys hibernate inside the filter pleats. This is why we want users to place their filters In the Hot Tub while purging. Filter cleaners are not going to,do the job as effectively as a good purge product will.

Those types of dealers REALLY don't care. I doubt if they even add and bleach or cal hypo to the tubs. They probably think since no one uses them they are good...

I get the Sonoran dog comment. To get it perfect I would have to take bits and pieces from El Guero Canelo, BK Tacos and maybe even one of the better food trucks to make a perfect one. El Guero Canelo gets mad if you ask for guacamole on the side to put on the dog, and that is why they aren't perfect.... I like avacado on mine, thank you. It's hard to beat their Carne Asada there though...

I noticed recently that you can get them with all the fixings plus chorizo at some of the trucks/carts, so I do need to try that because how can you beat chorizo and bacon in the same dish?

Tucson is odd in that some of the best food comes off of what we used to call "roach coaches" in the Midwest...

That’s not just Tucson, that’s everywhere!! Some of the best food comes off Food trucks and hole-in-the-wall joints!!
Trust me, it's not everywhere. It's a warm climate thing. The roach coach comment often was literal in the Midwest...
