Hello,
My pump booster pump stopped working and I am wondering if I can fix the pump or di I need a new one.
It is less than 2 yrs old but I think it may have stopped due to cleaner not being hooked up. It is on auto program, so it turns off if I have the cleaner connected or not.
Can I test anything before I buy a new one?
Thank you for any help.

Did you check the power to the pump?

Did you check if the motor spins freely by hand (with the CB off)?

Did you look for any water leaks around the pump?

Did you check the condition of the capacitor in the bump on the top?

the power is on. I can turn on and off via app.
I see no water leaks around pump.

spins freely by hand? (what is CB?)
condition of capacitor? Do I just look for burnt leads or do I need a meter to check voltage while pump is connected?
I have not removed the pump from system.
Should this be the next thing I do to test the pump?

Thank you for the help.

CB is circuit breaker, make sure power is off before putting fingers in pump basket or exposing wiring. Replace the capacitor wit a new one. Easy to do and very inexpensive.

You need to check the power at the pump L1 & L2 wires using a multimeter.

You don’t know if your app, automation, circuit breaker, or relay failed and the pump is not getting power.

I found one that seems very close.
can I replace my 30MF 400V.AC with 45MF 450V.AC
both are SH 40/85/21 50/60Hz

No. Call inyopool for the correct capacitor.

What is the exact model number of the pump?

Do you have a picture of the capacitor?

Does the pump hum when you turn on the power?

Is the main pump on?

Something seems off.
