New Pool Build, Yet Another in DFW

Got the TF-100 today and just tested my tap water. Here's what I got:

5.5 FC
3 CC
275 Calcium
110 TA
7.8ph
1-2 TC

What do you think? I might do it again later just to make sure I did all the tests right. I skipped the CYA test, cause I didn't think that was needed for testing the fill water.

Since we get our water from the same lake, I'm hoping our FC is not 5.5 nor CC of 3.

PS - I would make fun of you for testing your fill water before you even broke ground, but I just ordered my test kit and will probably run out of reagents before I get water in my pool.

Hopefully everyone can look and see if there is anything we need to do for our fill water.

Have some liquid chlorine ready to go! That will be some easy water to work with. Do NOT worry about the change as it will go up some as the plaster cures.

I bought my test kit before I ordered my pool so understand where you are coming from

First day of excavation finally done. They’ll be back tomorrow bright and early to finish the dig. It was so cool watching the excavator guy. He has been piloting them for 30 years and moved that thing like it was an extension of his body. Had to include some shots of the little for @kimkats

Thank you =) No, they had already cleared out by the time she got home from school. She just got to see the aftermath. Can't wait to see it all finished up tomorrow!

Dig is done! I was super impressed with these guys. Trackhoe operator was a freaking artist with that thing. Simply amazing to watch. On to the next step. :) ?

NICE! That IS some good digging right there!!

Now here is your first job! Go out with the plans and a tape measure. Is it wide, deep, long, etc enough? Add about 8" for the steel, shell, and plaster. NOW is the time to fix or tweak as needed or wanted.

SIGH...........that smile!!! Does she just have to think what she wants and you get it for her??? I hope so!

Doggy is saying "WHAT have you done to my yard????"
LOL.. indeed, the struggle is real! :)

Yeah, he is seriously confused about what in the world happened.

Give that nice dog a step so he doesnt have to jump down that far.

One wrong jump off the patio and he can tear his doggie ACL and require a $2,000 surgery  .
PS - I know a good vet, and my outdoor shower plans got put on hold due to the ding dong dog.

OUCH... man, that sucks! Glad he's gonna be ok though.

Luckily the other side of the patio is still the way it's always been with a small drop and the grass is over there, so he just went there. lol
