You're doing it all just right, just keep maintaining SLAM FC.

I guess if you happen to have an old cartridge filter lying around that you could add that to the pool for extra filtering. Dunno if you had a smaller pool before or not (the only reason really that anyone has those lying around).

Yeah I tried to buy one on craigslist but the guy was selling the whole pool, you take down and move. I offered to buy the filter, even to rent it, he wasn't having it.

It's only worth about $40-45 new, so nah... I wouldn't have taken (down) the pool either.

Keep your eye out for a little baby Intex sand filter (I assume you got the bigger one with your pool). You could cut in a through wall skimmer and run it on a separate pump/filter. I think people will be selling their green pools again now that school is back.

Party is going on as we speak! This morning I could see bottom and passed oclt, barely any cc. Gave it a good hour swim test myself this morning.

This was a fascinating thread to read. I was not following from the beginning. I read all the posts in one sitting and it was a nail biter watching you go from green to blue. I am fairly new to TFP and my situation was not as extreme as yours. If I wasn't a convert before, this post surely would make me! Congratulations on your success! P.S.
