On my Jandy panel I am getting the following error code:

MODEL 8156
RS-8 Combo
REV MMM

I got it originally last night. I turned off all power to the system then turned it back on. The panel came back up normal. I woke up this morning and it is showing it again. I have tried searching online but cant find a solution other than to turn power off and back on. Has anybody seen this error? If so what resolved it?

Is that really an error code? It looks like one of the standard Help screen readouts.

Is there any equipment behavior that is off? Pump keeps running normal? Is your programmed schedule maintained all day even with that screen readout?

If this is on a One Touch remote panel in the house, my first guess is that you may have a sticky button or two seff-navigating to that screen through Menu/Help after you power up. If it were me, I'd power down, remove the face plate of the One Touch, and see if I could clean the button contacts. Maybe even leave the face plate off after you power up to make sure the face plate isn't the culprit.

It's the Power Center’s sign-on screen. It shows the CPU information. It's not an error. It might indicate that the remote is not connecting.

Is the remote wired or wireless?

Try removing power to the remote and then restore power.

Replace the battery if it has one.

Check the communication wire to make sure that it's good.

How old is the system?

So I went out and took off the cover of the wireless controller out by the pump. There is a red and green light. The red light is flashing. If I press the reset button I can see everything back on the panel again but when I press the buttons on the panel I get nothing. I took the cover off the panel and nothing looks like it is stuck. I am thinking for some reason I dont have connectivity from the panel to the wireless controller outside. Hoping somebody has seen something like this.

I replace the indoor board and everything seems to be working fine. I am assuming the old board was going bad which is why sometimes it was communicating and other times it wasnt. I will update this if the new board shows the same problems over time.
