Hey guys and gals, I've been looking around this site for a while and finally decided to register, because I finally bought a pool lol. Reading on this site gave me the confidence to go ahead and take the plunge as they say. After watching the used market for a while I decided on a 10+ doughboy pool that was pretty reasonable and within driving distance. It wound up being a ton of work to get it.. I wanted a doughboy since they don't have braces going under the pool so I could make a deep end, or possibly a deep middle.
Only real upside is it came with the original books and manuals. I know an oval pool is probably not the best thing to build first but because the way my yard is set up that's all that would really fit unless I went pretty small.
So, be looking for me to ask lots of silly questions!
