Doheny's Discovery, S200, Active20, Triton owners club

Finally pulled the trigger today and gave Margaret a call and ordered the active 20 with the basket mod! I would like to know why she has not yet joined the forum to see all the great things people say about her.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she monitors conversations on the forum.

My five year old granddaughter saw our robot wandering around in the pool and named it “Kokopelli”.
How do 5 year olds come up with these things?

Has anyone experienced an issue where the S200 only runs for 15-20 minutes? I bought mine a couple of weeks ago, and for the first week it always ran for two hours, then this week it's consistently only running for under 30 minutes. It should always run for 2 hours right? Also, I've checked, filter basket is clean, cord is not tangled, etc.

TFP and Marina/Margaret for the win! I just joined the Active 20 club!!!

I almost bought a freaking Doheney's Saturn b/c of misinformation on the WWW. My next option was a certified refurb Active 20 or S200 from poolpartz (1 yr warranty) until I called Margaret. Brand new Active 20, $699 (w/ $25 mail-in rebate) and 2 year warranty! Took less than a minute to order it, no joke.

Now I just need to come up w/ a name for it! :D

Have people been successful getting the rebates when going through Marina? I recall some discussion about it since its not your "local retailer" but thought people were still getting the rebates. Might push me from the active 20/s200 up to the 30/300. I think the difference is $100 more but you get an additional $25 rebate and have the caddy.

Don’t count on it. Some have gotten it, some have not. Besides, you buy the robot because....
You want the robot.
You need the robot.
You can’t live without the robot.
You will feel complete with the robot.
Hope this helps.

Just dropped our new Active 20 into the pool tonight! Like everyone, I’m incredibly impressed. I can clearly see it scrubbing where our Polaris pressure cleaner never did. Excited to see the pool in the morning light, hopefully cleaner than ever before!

I’ll keep everyone posted if I’m successful in getting my $25 rebate.

Want to purchase a robot today. Have read through several threads on here. Probably will call Margaret! One question. Our neighbor let us try out his Dolphin Premeire and we loved it! Never had a robot before. Anyone know how that compares to the s200/s300? Thanks in advance for any responses!

Got my ‘BOFFO’ today, earlier than expected! I found I have an outlet in my water heater closet, 15’ from the pools edge and I can tuck the controller in there. No need for a caddy, until I store it.FFCAA62E-01A6-4BC3-A291-15995F0868C0.jpegThe rebates are listed as Maytronics ‘2019 MAYTRONICS DOLPHIN DAYS OF SUMMER’

Received my Active 20 today a few days early, immediately unpacked and put it to work. My pool was relatively clean and having used a demo of an M400 previously my expectations were so-so. I am happy to say the Robot worked wonders in our pool. Only a minuscule portion was left in one corner, not even enough to worry about, (and I'm rather obsessive) about having a clean pool. Simply amazing, cleaned the filter basket and what an easy thing to do. Big thanks and shout out to Margaret of Marina pools as well as the creator of this forum.

Happy Active 20 owner ! :party:IHS2j1M2S+WVQqXnGok4mA.jpg

May want to lay it on it's side as laying in flat like you have in the above photo, can bend down the scrubbing brush. I read that somewhere in this forum. Congratulations !!

Question - the Discovery / S200 / Active 20 can be programmed to run multiple times per week at a specific time, correct?

The manufacturer website calls this feature the "Automated Weekly Timer", which is a bit confusing. In our yard, we have leave and debris blow into the pool every 2-3 days, I need to be 100% certain on this feature.

Thanks

Short answer is yes. I just received my Active 20 yesterday from Marina. Here's what the manual says.100438

Just wanted to let you guys know I checked this thread 2 days ago with NO intention of buying a Robot. Just looking for information. My Creepy/Great White suction cleaner has served me well ,until we added a heater. The reduced flow has really messed him up. Replaced all the mechanicals ran the pump at higher speeds for longer times but I still find him just sitting in a corner. Was just going to get another one. You all convinced me one of these was the best option out there.
So long story short,I just got off the phone with Margret and my Active 30i is on the way! Went back and forth with the 20 but decided the better warranty/extra features (plus the higher rebate) was worth the difference to me. Heck not running my pump at the highest speed 4 hours a day will probably pay for it;).
