Thank you for the advice Carl. I basically want to get the pool somewhat clear so I can even see the liner. If there are big rips or something suggesting I must replace it asap, I’ll have to close the pool for now until we have the funds to do that. Right now I’m hoping it’s just the small areas pulling away and we can get someone out here to fix it after we’ve made that determination. Maybe it’s a bad plan but we’ve started and i’ve finally entered slam levels after days of trying so I’m just gonna trick forward ?
And, as far as I understand if my liner IS okay mostly drain and fill runs a giant risk of destroying it.
I already have plans to replace all my equipment asap, as soon as I get clear or almost, as it’s very old and leaking like mad.
Retested oto. Still orange, ever slightly. I decided to backwash filter & rinse then I added 4 gallons hoping to hold a decent level until morning, rain starting again as well. That might’ve been too much bleach but it’s still going down and I hope not to wake up to fc 0.5 again!
The water coming out of my filter has an orangey tinge. Not strong but I see it. So it seems that orange on the liner isn’t 100% on the liner. I see no orange in the test tubes or cups I dip out however. It stops and goes clear after 2 mins.
