Raypak heater LCD Display is blank

I have a Raypak MODEL NO. P-R336A-EN-C. It is more than 10 years old. The serial number starts with 0504.
The LCD is blank but if I raise the set temperature the heater works. The problem is that I have no way of knowing what the set temperature is. I am guessing that the solution could be to replace the LCD display. Searching online I found that Raypak Item Number 013640F is the LCD display for units manufactured after may 2011.
How can I get an LCD display for my older heater?

You'll probably have to buy a new old model board. I have not seen any of the display modules for the old boards sold separately. You can get an upgrade kit with a new style board and few other parts and then you will have an updated control board.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen PC boards, temperature control and sensor kits. The seem to cost about $300. Is this what you are referring to?
Do you know if it is possible to install a remote control to this old heater? I wonder if it would be more economical.

Yes all heaters can be connected to an automation system.

Yes that is at I am referring too. It is the newest board along with a few items you need to also swap out due to difference in connections on the new board.

Just remember, if you install automation, you still would like to have the display so you can see what if any error codes come up. Comes in handy.
