Hi
How much liquid chlorine do you folks like to keep on hand in terms of days or emergency SLAM applications? Is a month and half worth of LC too much?
I found a sale at a local Fleet&Farm for the 4 Pack of 1 gallon 12.5% liquid chlorine. Liquid Shock its called. Knowing that liquid chlorine has a shelf life, and it's strength does where off over time, I still picked up about a 1.5 months worth during the sale. I was getting 4 gallons of the stuff for $9.99, so the sale was decent.
Right now I have about a 4 weeks worth of LC left. I use between 20 and 40oz a day depending on activity. I also have some Hypo-Chlor (no stabilizer) on hand for emergency SLAM treatments. The powder seems to keep longer throughout the summer. I had bought the Hypo-Chlor earlier in the year and switch to LC after learning about TFP.
Thanks in advance!
