Cool video. Thanks for doing that. Looks like it preferred to hang out in the far end of the pool from your video. Either way, that's a neat tool.

I think I'd rather use one of those than any of the "floating skimmer" products that attach to a return. Are they still $500?? Definitely too expensive for me at that price-point but it would definitely serve a purpose in my pool (lots of little surface debris that never makes it to my skinner).

I think you might be able to buy a refurbished model from the mfg/distributor at a reduced price. worth looking into
 
That's cool. what is expected solar cell/battery life? everything i get that is solar craps out quickly, although they are cheap stuff.

At $560 there'd better be a serious warranty on parts!! At that price, you can spend a little bit more and get a very nice robotic cleaner for your pool.

It's a nice idea (although the built-in puck feeder is a bad idea) but definitely too expensive for what it does. That price needs to come down by half if they want to be attractive to the broader pool market.
