We have been working hard on our backyard redo since January. We added the pool and fire pit areas, painted the entire exterior of the house, added two porches - one of which is the outdoor kitchen area and bar, converted a small cabana into a pool shed, and added underwater lights in our (saltwater) canal. We still have to add outdoor sound, tv, redo some plumbing and run electric to kitchen/bar area. We have a dedicated 30 amp circuit for our toy hauler so for now we've run an extension cord off the camper when we've used the electric smoker or fryer. We also need to hang decorations. We live on the water right by the Gulf of Mexico so we spend most of our time outside. We've seen dolphins, manatee, turtles, all kinds of fish and even a sea otter in the canal. In fact we had dolphins just today! We wanted to feel like we are on vacation every time we step outside. The daytime pictures were before paint or porch additions. My favorite time is evening when all my party lights and underwater lights are on (they are on timers).

IMG_2797.jpgIMG_2796.jpgToday we got some more stuff done. We hung a half mount sailfish in the outdoor kitchen area. We also hung a small TV. I plan to get a HD antennae and I already have a google chromecast, fire stick and Roku I can hook up as needed. I still have to buy and install cord management channels for the TV and soundbar. I also need to do some more decorating.

I installed Polk atrium 5 speakers on the pool shed today. I'm running them off a Yamaha receiver I had laying around. I'm using DTS play-fi for my whole house sound (instead of sonos or similar), so I have a phorus PR5 (DTS play-fi "connect") hooked up to the receiver which I was able to put in the pool shed. I also have 2 Polk DTS Play-fi portable outdoor speakers I can move around as needed. I have more phorus pr5s in the house hooked to my existing systems. The Polk atrium 5 speakers on the shed sound fantastic! I'm really happy with the way they sound. I still need to run a pair of Polk Atrium 4 speakers in the outdoor kitchen/bar then I will be done with the outdoor sound.

Where did you get the lights that go around the outside of the pool?

I bought them off Amazon years ago. here is the link, but they are unavailable now. Maybe you can find another seller. 18Ft Rope Lights; Ocean Blue LED Rope Light Kit; 1.0"LED Spacing; Christmas Lighting; outdoor rope lighting https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001EKEWFY..._pg-bzbWY1K1RS

I used command strips rope light holders for under the rail to hold the rope lighting up. The lights are very bright so having them under the rail helps diffuse it. Looks great at night!

Got a few more things done on the backyard paradise. Finished wiring up the sound for the outdoor kitchen/bar. I ended up with a this amp:

Yamaha R-S202BL Stereo Receiver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EMQI2CU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_hYWrzbFJH96ZH,

a Play-fi Phorus PR5 Receiver with Play-Fi Multi-Room Dual Band Wireless Audio Streaming https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MY790GW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_vZWrzbRXTBVFS to connect the Yamaha to the rest of my Play-fi whole house audio,

and 2 pairs of Dual Electronics LU43PW 3 Way Indoor Outdoor Studio Speakers in White with Swivel Brackets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000A5S926/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_q1WrzbPB2CJ8E.

The sound in the backyard is amazing but zone specific so we don't have to blast one set of speakers to fill the whole yard. We also have this speaker:
Polk Omni S2 Rechargeable Compact Wireless Music Streaming Speaker with WiFi https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NAMZBQS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_v7WrzbZY0XNT1

that we can bring down to the dock to listen down there without having to turn the rest of the yard up too loud. BUT, the whole system ROCKS out when I want to crank it up. My camper is in the background of one of the pics (I store it on my side yard). You can also see one of my pictures with my AMAZING TFP water!

Kegerator added today. Now just have to find someplace local to buy kegs, I thought they would be easy to find. Closest is about 20miles away.

Hi Acmfl, not exactly sure where you're at but sounds like maybe on the Gulf side.....Total Wine near Park Street and Bay Pines Blvd in St. Pete has kegs (at least the small ones, I think called "pony" kegs?).
