Yet Another Freeze Question

First winter in this situation:
I keep my pool open all year. The ice storm warning does mean we could get power outages. Looking like a week of really cold.

I'll keep pump running 24/7 but this is if we lose power
My plan..
1. remove drain plug for filter
2. remove drain plug pump
3. cover equipment maybe electric blanket underneath -will do this anyway-

What I don't know.
1. do i open or close my waterfall?
2. can't find pentair ultratemp heater chiller plug. Does this need to be done as well? Looking for manual
