Last weekend I had a couple of waterline tiles fall off. Can anybody recommend an adhesive to reapply these without having to drain any water? Thanks in advance!
In reference to your question about, some folks have used 3M Marine Adhesive/Sealant No. 5200 for their gunite pool. Some will use a latex modified thinset as you would use in a normal install. It should be a mortar mix and not a mastic. Some who were really desperate and stalling for time or money just used regular silicone caulking (if above the waterline) just to hold them over in a pinch. I've seen some chatter about using a 2-part epoxy "Pool Putty" for some small jobs just to tack the tiles back in-place. Maybe one of those options will suffice.
A good place to ask tile questions is Johnbridge.com. Very busy site with a lot of tile experts. Good luck!
