My Pentair 011013 has died (corrosion). Does anyone know if the geometry on the latest version (011056) is identical? i.e., can I swap in the new pump without changes to the piping...?

If your old pump is not connected with pump unions, you should use them with your new pump. You can't buy pump unions at Home Depot.
They look like this and screw into the pump with an O-Ring that prevents any leaks as things get older. No tape or goop is needed...
Makes the install much, much easier.
