The test kits only have 8 to 16 CYA test counts. That does not sound a lot... especially it's $60-70 kit.
So... how often do you need to test for CYA?
So... how often do you need to test for CYA?
No. Not if you push the edges down under the surface when you're done. Then you have water on both sides and it can spill out as you pull on one end. It will be no different than pulling some windblown trash out of the pool. It'll just be the weight of the tarp.So... I'm doing tarp drain/refill process and concerned if the tarp would be impossibly heavy to pull with all the weight of water?
Keep going. There's water on both sides of the hole, so it won't pour through like the tarp is suspended in mid-air.Cr@p. Found a hole in the tarp while filling.
Abandon plan and just pull tarp out? It's basically mixing good and bad water.
When the tarp sinks down to the last six inches or so. It's better to drain more now and have to add a little CYA to bring it back up than it is to have to drain more later. You see what a PITA it is.Ok I'll keep going... but when do I know to stop draining?
