I unplugged the pump last night and plugged it in this morning and it won't turn on. No response at all. I'm kind of freakin out. Any clue what is going on?
Did you chech your circuit breaker and gfci reset button. Motors don't just go bad overnight. Could be a dead spot in the windings, but that is a long shot. Check the simple things first
I am totally clueless. What is a reset button? The outlet that the pump is plugged Ito is running other things so it's not the breaker. I would hate to call a repairman if I'm just stupid.
The GFCI that the pump "should" be plugged into will have a reset button on it. If it tripped for some reason it is how they are reset. I am curious...if there is a switch, why are you unplugging it?
