Pentair Compool to EasyTouch Upgrade

I have a Pentair compool cp3600 that has died - ordered the upgrade kit without the transformer (521107). Will I need to also order the Pentair wall mounted control panel (520549) or can I still use my old wall mounted controller used for the cp3600? Thanks

That might be something best asked of Pentair. Hopefully you will get someone that knows when you call.

You do not need the indoor control panel with that upgrade as the outdoor panel has the ability to act as the indoor panel would (change settings, create programs, assign labels, etc.). You just loose the convenience of operation from inside your home, or where ever your old indoor panel was.

Unfortunately, the old panel does not interface with the new E/T system. You can however, use the existing cable for communication between the new outdoor and indoor panel(s).
