    yep my signature has all the info. Thanks for the 1/4 turn note. I gave up and hoped the laterals are ok. I bought new pool sand and gave up on zeolite and pebbles. Now the vacuuming won't hold suction. sigh

    So that's why I should have adjusted the pH pre SLAM? My brain doesn't always work well. So should I assume the pre start pH of 8.2 was accurate and just add Muriatic acid based on that? The pool is getting clearer. Thanks

    The pool is clearing better than I had hoped. I added more bleach to bring it back up to SLAM. It dropped to 16 and by the math it should be 20. I scrubbed walls and vacuumed it once yesterday and today-very tiring. Back washed, rinsed and added more water to pool. The pH is not the best...
