    Bonding

My 2 cents from the states. What you have top remember is that all codes are the bare minimum. Going above the minimum in a swimming pool surrounding is something you will have to say is worth it. Below are my opinions and I don't carry licence to do work in your area. So truly my words mean...

    Help with pool controller location

I have to agree with Maddie and Jim. My opinion is the location installed is the best from the pictures you have shared. Circle 1 behind equipment. Definitely can't go there. Circle 2 on the left: Facts 1- It appears in the picture you meet the working clearance of the equipment. 2- I...

    Raceway vs Residential Branch Circuit

First issue I read is Romex in conduit. Romex isn't rated for wet locations. As far as 12" or 18" - Will your circuit be 20 amp or less and have GFCI protection?

    Help with pool controller location

Without a picture of where the electrician installed it and where you wanted it... I'm of no help. But the code he is referring to is.... Imagine a box in front of your controller... width of controller, height(all the way to the ground) and 3' in front of your controller. Nothing can be inside...

    Filled in pool

DO you have a copy of your plot survey plan(If not the city should)? I would think in order for the power company lines to be in your back yard they would have at one point asked and issued an easement. Knowing where the easements on your property could get you started in the right direction.

so maybe $1000 in material. Rental of Mixer $200 or less for the day 1500 for labor - If it was me I would pay. Unless you have a few friends or family of free labor. I would make it clear that there are no extras and hand over the finshed pool floor plans to be implemented. Just my opinion

Vinyl 18x36 on the way. Here is the gameplan!

Looking at your pictures you don't need a portland base with that hard red clay! Just kidding Keep up the good work your half way there! and a couple steps away from the weather being your worst enemy.

If the transformer has only one concentric knock out in the 12volt side of the barrier. Then yes the easiest way is like you said. Bring both lights to a LJBUY00PP1 and single conduit to the LTBUY11300. The junction box can be right beside the LTBUY11300. Just make sure you install...

wiring a 1 1/2 hp 15 amp pump for an above ground pool.

Wire Size I suggest #10 wire at the minimum. < 3% voltage drop at 14 amp draw from the motor. #12 would give you a VD of around 5% There is variables: True RMS voltage, Actual amp draw from the motor nameplate and true length Just my two cents. If you pulled #12 would it work. Short...

wiring a 1 1/2 hp 15 amp pump for an above ground pool.

I agree with Dan, 1" or at the bare minimum 3/4. I don't know your situation, you may need a second circuit for the convenience outlet >6 not more than 20. Don't forget your bonding inspection will take place with this permit. Can you confirm the nema configuration of the plug shipping on...

Attaching bonding wire to pool ladder, need suggestions...

Out of curiosity, Why are you replacing the pool ladder? Are you currently feeling a shock entering and exiting the pool? Is this how you know it isn't bonded? Are you replacing the anchors cups as well? or are you saying there is no wire wire attaching directly to the ladder other...
