Sounds like our IC40 has lived well past its expected lifespan! So, I'm looking at replacing it with either another IC40 or one of three CircuPool chlorinators. Hoping to get some feedback about the differences/ pros and cons of each and possible experiences with CircuPool.

Our Pentair IC40 has quit. No lights at all. This summer is it's 10th season. I'm assuming it is a goner, so we need to replace it asap. What are the latest SWGs that would be great for our 18,000 gallon AGP? I'm looking at CircuPool, which is a brand I'm unfamiliar with, but gets good reviews...

There are rust spots on at least 1/3 of the exterior pool wall. However, because the worst corrosion is at the skimmer and return areas, the warranty states that that negates the warranty. Grrrr. I've attached their letter responding to my claim. I'll be sure and take photos when we drain and...

Response from the manufacturer states that due to most of the corrosion being in the area of the skimmer and return, it is not covered by the warranty. They are offering me a 20% discount on the $3567 replacement wall... + $250 shipping. I don't know what else to do. :(

Yea, very misleading for a first-time pool purchaser.

One of the reasons we decided on purchasing this pool, the Sharkline Matrix, was because of it's claim of being an all-resin pool. Zea3, I have filed a warranty claim with the manufacturer, but have not received a response. Thank you for all your helpful info. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Oh, wow. I was hoping y'all weren't going to tell me something like this, but kind of expected it. Any idea what could have caused this rust issue? I certainly don't want to replace the whole thing and have it happen again. The pool is only 8 years old.
