Response from the manufacturer states that due to most of the corrosion being in the area of the skimmer and return, it is not covered by the warranty. They are offering me a 20% discount on the $3567 replacement wall... + $250 shipping. I don't know what else to do. :(

I am not a pool guru. I come here for advice and help. Thankfully, my local pool shop was able to help us without berating us. Our FC is 4. Our CYA was low, leading to a false FC reading. Our chlorinator is fine, even after seven years.

Re-tested today. I added twice as much powder this time and the water still doesn't turn pink. Chlorinator has been running at 80% for 2 weeks. CYA is very low; added stabilizer today. Yes, the cord came with the pump. Hoping it will be covered under warranty. However, that doesn't help us much right now... It's 97º here and the pool has been unfiltered for 3 days now and getting yucky.

Hayward Powerflo Matrix 2spd pump - just purchased in May 2019. The plug on the power cord looks fried. What could have happened and how can I fix it? The GFCI outlet it was plugged into is fine.
