Great. You want to get down to the 3 to 5 ppm range.
So test this daily until you get down to that area. Be sure to test each time before you add chlorine.

Keep the stabilizer dissolving. Don't add more baking soda. Your 9 drops from your test indicate your have 90ppm. That is just great.

They are using the DPD test block found in the K2005.

Interesting. I might try that. I like the simplicity of the one I have (5 drops of yellow) but it tops out at 5ppm and I run higher that that. I use the dpd powder when I want some precision but most of the time I’d just like a quick check along with my Ph. Thanks.
