Zero cc and zero Cya?

What they said. High TA just means that your pH will rise a bit faster. When it does you add muriatic acid and the pH will go down along with the TA. Eventually you either hit an equilibrium where the pH rise slows to a stop, or your TA will test low and you’ll have to add a little to get back to 50-60.

The only reason to force TA lower is if your CSI is too high and you are concerned about scaling.
