So pool has 4 + seasons on Zeobest and no issues
Pump on high goes out
So I decided to install new pump and change the zeobest
Open pool Clear no issues just like every opening for the past 4 or 5 years
Clean out old zeobest
Fill tank (300lb filter) half way up with water, add new zeosand (I didnt get the zeobest this time)
Running old 2 speed pump on low, back wash filter till sight glass is clear
wake up today green pool?

no CC (zero)
So I may shock and see what happens. I have never had a green pool?
Or is this zeosand just bad?
So shock to 16 for normal algae according to pool calc table?
See what happens, line up source for 300lbs of pool sand.
