I'm so sorry they're still dragging their feet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they get all the stuff they need straightened out, so they can get your pool completed. Keep us posted, and good luck.
I don't know how you are dealing with this ****. At this point they owe you a refund of some money. I know they have upgraded but they still can't get their stuff together.
Oh no ummmmmmmmm I thought that your pool was getting the attention it needed. Grrrrrrrrrrrr to your PB!
I wonder if you can start taking money away for everyday there is no work? Any lawyers around???
Kim
Just to make you feel better a pool in my neighborhood started about the same time yours did (right before all the flooding) and I don't know if they are finished yet either. They put their fence back up about a week ago, so I can't see anymore when I drive by
This sounds so frustrating. I can't imagine how stressful it is to have this project dragging out for so long! I hope they get their act together soon.
Just imagine next summer when all of this is behind you, how much you will enjoy your amazingly beautiful backyard oasis![]()
I'd be speaking to an attorney and I would tell them I'm seeking the advice of an attorney. Does your contract say anything about the length of the project?

Umm, I am so sorry to hear this. You have been so patient with them through all of their screw ups. No one deserves to be treated like this.
Good luck with your foot surgery -- I had three separate surgeries on my right foot a few years ago, and the overall recovery was a long process, kinda like building a pool!!! Pain killers and ice are your friend for that first week...
I'm at week 4 on our pool build and I am sick to death of the mess already!
Hey I can help you! I have the 1, 2 punch for mosquitoes! This for where are hanging out. It is almost as if you have a shield around you!

Ha! Something I CAN help with and NOT go to jail! LOL
Kim (loving your idea of working from their office!)
No plumber showed up today. Another empty promise.
It is past promises. It is in the telling a lie area now
Time to bring out the big gun----------money! Print out the part about the pool being done __ time and highlight that part. Write up something saying "Starting on ?? date I will subtract ?? amount from final amount due for every day there is not a full days work done." I wonder how they would react to that!
Kim
I'm so sorry. That's so sad, and very unprofessional on their part. I can't believe they've done it to you, again. I know you have to be way beyond frustrated, and there's no sense in them doing you like that. Perhaps you should start charging them for all the times you've had to sit, and wait for them to fail to show up, and tell them your time is valuable too. Just smh. Hang in there!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they show up soon.
I am doing this step by step. I really just want them to finish because we are so close now. I called pretty upset yesterday at around 4:30p.m. when my wife told me no one had been to the house. I demanded from the Sales Manager that I needed a schedule and I needed them to stick to the schedule. They are working on it and should have it to me today. I then plan on holding them to that schedule. If someone isn't at my house on the scheduled time I will be in their office at lunch until I know what is going on. I'll update after I have more specifics today.
We really don't have to sit and wait for them. I will be calling every day they don't show up and spending time in their office.
I have an A&A in floor system. The nice thing about A&A is they give the lifetime warranty on their system. After 10 years, I wasn't happy with the way it was (well wasn't) cleaning the pool. They sent out a tech who replaced the gear/valve pack then replaced every single cleaning head with a newer design, all free of charge. He then worked with me to set up the speed and run times for my new VS pump. If I had to buy all of the parts they replaced it would have cost well over $3,000, and that doesn't include anything for a service call or labor.
If you are purchasing an in floor system, I would hope you will have no need for a robot.
I am so sorry. Is this a fairly big company? it almost seems as if they don't have the funds to order equipment and building materials ahead of time? That would concern me. Because it really makes no sense to wait to order materials until you actually reach that stage of construction over and over again. (Coming from the wife of an operations manager of a construction company). I didn't realize that timeline clause was included in your contract. That is a huge bargaining factor for you. They have breached their contract with you!! By about 4 months!! I know you are just wanting to get everything finished and I am certainly not someone who likes to take legal action, but I think I would in your case after everything is complete. They definitely owe you some sort of compensation for going over their timeline so long. At what point of construction do you owe your last draw? You might also have the timeline they provide you added as an addendum to your contract that both you and the pb have to sign if on so that they are also legally bound by that.
Sure is interesting they came during the ONE time someone was not home! Slip and out so no one will look at his work too close?
At least they did show up. Now if they would show up and do all of the work needed!
